At a loose end tonight?
You could always join me at the latest T’Articulation event, which is free to attend:
I’ll be reading, though I haven’t decided what to go with yet. Probably something Pompey related
Here’s the blurb
The T’Articulation troupe are pleased to invite the well-practised and newly risen, alike, to perform their writings at this friendly event. The theme Stories of the Streets allows for a broad interpretation but will include work coming out from our recent psychogeographic perambulation of Old Portsmouth Town. Writings may be in any form and any style: poetry, prose, fiction, fact, or stories retold but the words should be yours. Members and invited guests have one four minute slot and those signing up to the open mic (on the night) have three minutes. Regular attendees are considered for membership, once spaces become available.
This is a free event, but we do ask you to buy a drink at the bar, to support our hosts – and there will be an exit bucket at the end for if you’ve enjoyed the experience. We are conscious of how tight money is for everyone, so don’t let a lack of it keep you away. Even if you’re not a writer, or feel too shy to contribute, please come and enjoy the vibe. We’re a friendly lot and you’re sure to have fun.
Capacity is limited so grab your tickets while you can.
